Calm Stories: meet Ajani
We're celebrating the inspiring ways that our members have transformed their way of being in the 🌎 by using the Calm app. Photographer and entrepreneur, Ajani, describes his mind as always having "numerous tabs open" and is a recovering workaholic who practices meditation, sometimes just 10 seconds at a time and even on the subway, as a way to thrive both in his career and personal life.
““I was definitely a hardcore workaholic, using work and lifting weights to numb and disassociate…””
Ajani describes his mind as always having “numerous tabs open” but in this short story, he shares how he’s been able to detach from his busy, creative mind and complicated life with a doable meditation practice that works for him, anywhere, sometimes just 10 seconds at a time.
We are so grateful to him for sharing his ideas and experience with our Calm Community.
